Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Psychology Clinic

We offer specialist psychological interventions and therapy for Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ students. Sessions are delivered by Department of Psychology clinical staff.

What we do


Our clinic provides evidence-based psychological assessments, therapies and interventions for Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ students.

All sessions are delivered by qualified clinical psychologists, health psychologists and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) therapists, who also work as lecturers and researchers in the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµâ€™s Department of Psychology.

Our staff are specialists in their fields, and can offer support for the following issues:

  • anxiety disorders and OCD
  • adapted interventions for depression and anxiety for autistic people
  • eating disorders
  • physical health-related difficulties
  • adjusting to difficult life changes (like a significant loss or diagnosis)
  • sleep problems
  • relationship difficulties (including family and couple)

Other University-based support


As a Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ student, you can access a range of other support services for mental health and wellbeing issues, including support for disabilities, money advice, and support for care leavers.

Mental Health & Wellbeing Service

A multidisciplinary team of qualified mental health professionals who provide support for students experiencing mental health and wellbeing difficulties.

Therapeutic Service at the University

A team of qualified therapists who provide counselling for students at the University.

About us

Our clinic is part of the Department of Psychology at the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ.

Our support is free to current Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ students aged 18 to 25. The clinic is one of a range of support options available and complements the services provided by student support and safeguarding.
